SweetMilk
SweetMilk is a band from the Achterhoek (The Netherlands) that originates around singer-songwriter Mike Mendels. Mike is the brain that comes up with the ideas, which in collaboration with Daniël unfold into songs that will be stuck in your head forever.
With Han, Jürgen and Remco the band is complete. All are down-to-earth musicians that earned their stripes in several bands. This energetic group is a pleasure to watch and listen to.
And what about the name SweetMilk? It’s hinting at former Dutch cyclist Joop Zoetemelk. He was a national hero, but above all a modest and ordinary person. He was good at what he did because he just liked it a lot. The same goes for SweetMilk: enjoying the music is key!

The Stone Souls is a sonic road trip which leads you along raw canyons and silent streams.
They bring you slide guitars, mariachi trumpets, cinematic passages and heartfelt stories about oddballs and dreamers. The Stone Souls is a two-faced band: either a stomping formation that mixes roots and stoner rock or a subtle Americana group. But it’s always the sound from the meadows of Old-Zevenaar (NL).

Her first album Promises To Go was released in May 2021. It became a collection of intense, narrative songs, with musical inspiration from jazz, soul and world music and of course also a role for the flute!
